During this workshop we will work with fresh, seasonal flowers, to carry out a botanical study using mechanical pencil and gouache.

Through careful observation, sense of smell and touch, we will recognize the structure of the flower and its individual character. Based on the principles of geometry, we will learn how to correctly represent proportions. Using a mechanical pencil, we will outline shadows and volumes. Finally, we will prepare a colour palette to capture the nature of the flower using gouache technique.

This workshop is suitable for all plant and flower lovers who want to acquire basic illustration techniques or deepen their knowledge of botanical illustration in gouache.
